Travel
Below you’ll find recommendations for getting to and staying in Glen Arbor.
Getting there
Glen Arbor, Michigan
Traveling by plane
Cherry Capital Airport (TVC): Glen Arbor is about 30 miles through farm stands and vineyards from Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) in Traverse City, the closest airport. During the summer, direct flights are available from many cities including Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Dallas-Fort Worth, New York (LaGuardia and Newark), Philadelphia, St. Pete-Clearwater, Washington, DC, and more.
Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR): Grand Rapids’ Gerald R. Ford International Airport is about a 2hr 45min drive from Glen Arbor and can sometimes provide more affordable or flexible flight schedules. Grand Rapids is also a great afternoon stop for lunch.
Even if you fly, we recommend renting a car so you can fully explore the Leelanau Peninsula and all the area has to offer.
Staying there
We’ll be celebrating August 13 to 16, 2026. Whether you can join for the entire extended weekend or just the wedding day, August 15, we’ll be honored to have you. We recommend booking lodging as soon as possible.
